The best looking boiler!

Our after-sales service engineer has just come back from Vietnam. He said these are the best looking boilers and boiler room he has ever seen. Good boilers deserve a nice and clean place to stay in.

The dark blue casing makes the boiler looks so cool but they are actually very hot because they are HOT WATER BOILERS!

How Come Condensing Boilers Efficiency So High, Even Over 100%?

To find out the answer, let’s take a look into computing method of heat efficiency.

Generally, heat efficiency

Q1 indicates output of the heat, and Q means calorific value of the fuel.

When the fuel is burning, it mainly produces CO2 and vapor. There are two ways of computing fuel calorific value, one is net calorific value which excludes latent heat during vaporizing, the other is gross calorific value, which equals to the total heat produced, including latent heat in vaporization. Heat efficiency is based on net calorific value worldwide, except for USA.

Gas boilers are fueled by various gas fuels. After combustion, it will produce high water content smokes. When exhaust gas temperature is decreased to such extent that vapor contained in the smoke will condensate. As a result, the heat released will be absorbed by the boiler. That is why, the heat efficiency of Condensing Boilers can exceed 100%.
