Advantages of car fog lights

LED DRL Fog Lights for car are the light fitted with cars and they are manually switched off or on by driver in the case of poor visibility caused by heavy rain, fog or snow. It also increases the visibility of car behind or in fronts because a fog light in cars are much brighter or sharper than the regular flood light of cars and it is even more intense than brake light.

The regulations in some advanced countries permit cars to fitted on the driver's side of th vehicle, it very reasonable to have two fog lights but one is very better because it create a confusing situation where the driver at the back cannot differentiate the changes in the rear brake light.

It not very uncommon to see some drivers switching on their car's fog light carelessly, but it is very important to know that car fog lights are not for fashionable display but to warn the on coming driver that there is a problem with the visibilities, either as a result of heavy rain or storm or snow. It is also worth mentioning that the car fog light should be switched off as soon as it served its purpose. And it should be used while on a very low speed to increase the illuminations.

Habitual misuse of car fog light can result in a very big fatality on side of the driver or other road users because it causes distraction on the side of a fellow road user who may see the action as a genuine signal from the affected driver and as such a vehicle on a very high speed might be distracted or made to loose concentration and the resultant effect is car accident.

Because there are different levels of jurisdictions as far as car fog lights are concerned, as a result different schools of thought have a different opinions; the proponents of single rear fog light says, "double fog light will closely mimic the appearance of break light and it will allow the break light to serve it purpose", "while the proponent of double fog light says single two lamps will provide the distance information that is not available in a single lamp".
